I am a highly experienced Business Coach & Mentor, Facilitator, Leadership, Organisation, People Development & Change Management Specialist and I write regularly about all these areas for a range of professional audiences. With nearly 30 years’ experience working in senior roles across both the public and private sectors in the UK and Europe, I have amongst other things led national OD interventions for restructuring local authorities, the delivery of major programmes for the European Commission's Innovation & Enterprise Framework, &, played a key role in the constitution, governance and strategic positioning of 25 new employer-led UK-wide Sector Skills Councils for Government.

My experience is drawn from a number of sectors including construction and engineering, leisure, tourism and sport, publishing, creative and cultural, voluntary and community, local and central government, teaching, &, both higher and further education.

I am also an Education Adviser with the Tribal Education Group (UK), a member of the Non-Executive Directors Association, &, an Examiner on the University of Strathclyde Business School's Young Enterprise Scotland Programme.

Currently I am writing a commissioned book on Mindfulness and in my spare time try to 'be present' with my five children and six grandchildren.
